Jackie M. Jackson
Principal

The firm's principal, Jackie M. Jackson, was elected to Richmond City School Board. She was elected and served as Vice President on Richmond City Council. She served terms under the Council-Manager form of government and the elected Mayor form of government.

Jackson graduated from North Carolina A&T State University with a BS in Electrical Engineering and University of Richmond with a Masters of Business Administration. She has also obtained a Master's Certificate in Project Management from George Washington University.

The American Council of Young Political Leaders selected Jackson as a delegate, out of over 1000 applicants, to travel to India. She is also a 2002 Sorensen Political Institute Fellow and a 2004 Southern Women in Public Service “Pacesetter”. Jackson was elected as a Regional Director for the National Black Caucus for Local Elected Officials. In 2006, she was selected as one of Style Weekly’s Top 40 Under 40.

 

Andrew Rogers
Consultant

Before joining JMJSR, Andrew Rogers worked as Deputy Coordinator for My Vote My Virginia.  He recruited and supervised voter registration organizers.  Andrew conducted training and developed voter registration strategies.

Prior to that, Andrew worked as a campaign advisor for a Mayor’s race and served as Vice Chair of Outreach for Mt Vernon District Democratic Committee.  In those roles, he performed various tasks ranging from drafting press releases, creating policy statements to conducting opposition research.  Andrew organized outreach within minority communities and bridged the generational gaps while serving as a liaison between the local committee and Young Democrats.

Andrew obtained his Juris Doctorate from Howard University School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts, majoring in History and Political Science from Virginia Union University.

He lives in Richmond, VA with his wife Sherrita, their daughter Simone and son Caleb.
